beach side cafe

cafes are always great and especially when you tired of making the same old breakfast or lunch at home.  it’s hard to think out of the eggs, bacon, toast, fruit or cereal box after a while.

IMG_3977so, what does beach side cafe do that i can’t do?  stuffed french toast.  i don’t think i could take a class to get it right.  this creation, and there are quite a few versions, comes to your table like some kind of brown package.  it’s large, and a head turner as it passes other patrons.  what is inside is a special delivery.  in my case, cream cheese and blueberries.  yes, i added bacon, syrup and a tall glass of cold milk.  it was a pleasure to devour.

there was also a very hearty country fried steak at our table.  a breakfast for a lumberjack portion, and all plates managed to be cleaned.

i really like their coffee because it’s the kind of coffee i remember before the coffee craze.  it has an authentic flavor and smell, which is honestly refreshing to the palette and memory.  coffee doesn’t need too much help with itself to deliver and satisfy.  i had almost forgotten that.

it’s a place for families to enjoy,  and you get the beach vibe with the surfboards on the walls, some classic t-shirts, tank tops for sale, and murals with bright florida colors.  it’s in indialantic, which seems convenient for everyone beachside.  the wait staff is always quick and very friendly, as must be the chef who made that delightful dream package i ate.

vanessa too!!!!

perfectly located in the heart of the indiatlantic right off 5th avenue sits a local favorite the Beach Side Cafe.

a cozy breakfast/lunch eatery that has so much to offer than your usual cafe.  from eggs benedict to salads that they pride themselves are the largest in town and daily quiche and fruit plate there’s something for everyone.

our waitress Janet was great and you can tell she’s used to being quick on her toes at this busy place.

i’ll be choosing the ham and swiss stuffed french toast.  thick peices of texas toast stuffed dipped in batter then grilled to a crispy perfection.  served with a hollandaise sauce but i found by adding a little jelly gave it a monte cristo taste.

bryant went for the more traditional breakfast with french toast, scrambled eggs and sausage.  sure was a hearty portion for 6 bucks.

perfect area to take a stroll after you’ve filled up and even hit the beach and let your food settle.

thanks beach side cafe for an amazing meal on the beachside!!!
