fiesta jalisco

lucy loo

sometimes a girl just needs a straight up, no fancy twists, food experience.  i jumped off of the foodie centric truck this week and decided on mexican.

although i was tempted to be interesting and order the laguna scampi (prawns, garlic, mushrooms served with avocado and orange slices), i just stuck with my homogenous craving for a taco salad.  i ordered a peach mojito so i wouldn’t entirely lose my edge.  it was so light and airy, it could have been sparkling juice and gave my tastebuds an advantage.

fiesta jalisco is clean,  attractive and the food prepared in good time.  sometimes it’s that simple.  the intrigue and experiences can come from chatting with the hospitable wait staff, and catching up with friends.  we had some guests join us for the blog, which is always an extra plus.  and, i get to nibble off of their plates, because that’s my job right?

so, if you are looking to just get back to your roots of whatever cuisine strikes you that day, enjoy.  enjoy the simple pleasures of eating with friends on a beautiful fall day in florida.

Bright and clean interiors atypical of other local haunts. Expect your usual suspects for entree selections and anticipate them to arrive hot and fresh. The standout here may very well be delicious concocted drinks like the peach mojito that stands out from the crowd. Service was attentive and efficient. Nice beachside alternative when you want camerones, chicken or pollo or drinks or bebidas.
